Animals
are our Greatest Teachers. They are our mirrors and reflections of how we treat our Inner selves.
Sometimes they exhibit certain behaviors that we simply don't understand. Let me help you find the issues that are causing
the pain so that you and your pet companion can move into a happier and healthier relationship.
What is Reiki and how can it Benefit You and your
Pet?
Reiki is a holistic, natural hands-on energy healing system that touches on all levels: body, mind & spirit.
It is based on the premise that a universal life energy is present in all living things. When this energy becomes blocked.
discomfort and disease can occur. Reiki is good for all bodily ailments or just to
maintain good health and increase vital energy. Reiki relieves stress, promotes relaxation and strengthens the immune system
therefore accelerating the healing process. It helps alleviate pain for the immediate as well as chronic ailments. Most patients
report feeling peaceful, joyous and revitalized after a healing session. Reiki compliments other health care and can help
minimize side effects of conventional medical treatments. When using Reiki to heal, the practitioner channels healing energy through her hands
to the client either directly or from a distance. It is ideal for use with animals because with Reiki, the animal controls
the treatment, accepting Reiki in the ways that are most comfortable. Reiki always goes to the source of the problem and always
works for their highest good. It is not a substitute for proper medical or veterinary care.

Reiki to the Rescue! Jackson was hungry and homeless when he showed
up one spring day at my door. It was easy to fall in love with him, with his beautiful green eyes and sweet disposition.
A few weeks later following a trip to vet for vaccines , wormer and neutoring , Jack became ill and stopped eating.
A close examination revealed the signs of jaundice. It seemed his little immune system had been compromised. I began treatments immediately, but only
a few minutes at a time. At the beginning , the energy felt strong to him and he expressed to me that he only wanted
it from a distance. By the next day , Jack seemed to feel somewhat better and nibbled a little on some tuna fish.
I continued to give Jack treatments several times a day and for longer periods of time and by the end of the week, Jack's
appetite had returned. The following week, I noticed that the pink pigment had started to return. Today, Jackson
is a fat and sassy Kat!
